Differential expressions of TGF-β1, HIF-1, VEGF, α-SMA and E-cadherin in renal tissues of a neonatal rat model of hydronephrosis

Purpose: To investigate the differential expressions of transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), hypoxia inductive factor-1 (HIF-1), vascular endothelial factor (VEGF), α-smooth muscle protein (α-SMA) and E-cadherin in renal tissues neonatal rat model hydronephrosis.Methods: The rats (90) were randomly divided into sham group group. further two subgroups: week 1 12 after relief obstruction, with 30 each Six taken from for determination histopathological changes. Levels TGF-β1, HIF-1, VEGF, α-SMA compared different pathological grades at time points obstruction relief.Results: With increase Elder grade, concentrations VEGF hydronephrosis gradually increased, while expression level Ecadherin decreased (p < 0.05). However, significantly reduced, E-adherin was upregulated 0.05).Conclusion: These findings are great significance determining degree kidney injury recovery, development drugs treatment injury.
